Well, first let me express how grateful I am to all of you who have expressed your prayers and well wishes for my "puppy love." I am so touched! I know that you will all be happy to hear that Zuri is doing great! On Sunday (Mother's Day), exactly one week after her snake incident, Zuri was back in full form. While we were working on the yard, still planting flowers for our upcoming wedding, we noticed her staring intently at the ground. She was so funny, the way she would lift one foot and ever so slowly move it forward one step and then, ever so gently, set it down. She was cocking her head and pricking her little ears, never taking her eyes off of that little spot on the ground. She didn't even take note of us when we approached and stood about a foot from her. When we did, we could see a little swell in the ground and every once in a while, we would detect the slightest movement beneath the dirt. We were so tickled watching her display of hunting prowess! Then, suddenly, she POUNCED! After about 2 or 3 little digs of her front paws, she came up with a mole! She was so proud that she laid there with that little dead thing for about half an hour! So, I think it is safe to say that Zuri has healed thoroughly and is fulfilling her duties as Master Terrier Mutt on mole patrol!

You should rent out your dogs as mole repellents! LOL. I have done everything to get rid of my moles but they seem to like my sandy soil. I am learning t live with the buggers.

You should put up a picture of her and maybe a picture of her mole hunting!
