Finally, we had a lot of much needed rain yesterday. I wasn't even upset that I took a day off work and it rained. I felt like going outside and jumping around I was so happy. But thought better of it, didn't want break any body parts:) Today it is going to be overcast, 92 and humid and tomorrow even hotter. Once the sun comes out, all the plants should be very happy. Today I'm going to weed which should be a snap now that the ground is saturated and I'll be a muddy mess but a happy muddy mess. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Happy gardening!

I agree!!!! Before I began planting all of my flowers, we had a huge problem with the backyard flooding. Now, my fiancee keeps calling my gardening efforts a 'waste of time and money', but... guess what? THERE ARE NO MORE FLOODS IN THE BACKYARD... OR ANY YARD FOR THAT MATTER!!! Now, how is that a waste of time? have fun getting all muddy! That's part of the fun of gardening!!! You get to get messy like you're a kid again, and who doesn't enjoy that?
