Hi Bob! Thanks for the friend request. You are my first friend here! I am in hot central California but our weather has been really weird lately. We have two houses side by side that I removed the fence between for one big yard and both were a mess - anything that was there died long ago, and one house was buried in trash. I am putting the yard together one corner at a time, and my veggie garden was first. I'm having trouble with the soil, but am working on that as I find the problems. Now for the rest of the yard...
You are correct. The pictures are from last summer. Had a knee injury and a replacement so I didn't get the winter garden planted earlier. I'm working on it now. Just got the Brussel sprout and broccoli planted (started them indoors) The only other plants growing are swiss chard (still growing good from last sumer) and onions, lettuce and spinach. You can grow just about anything where you are, can't you? Happy to be your friend. Just found this place and looks like I'm going to like it.
Thanks for the friend invite Bob! you have such a beautiful yard! And great photos.I love photography and have taken a few lessons from a retired professional, but am still amature..still learning aand enjoying every min. of it!
