Once I watched a red tail eat a small bird - took him about a half hour.  Afterwards, I went outside and looked around to see if I could see any evidence or sign that he had been there having lunch.  There wasn't even a small feather left to give away that he had been there.  I did find a teensy tiny bit of flesh on a twig, but not much else.  I expected there would be a lot of little feathers, but there wasn't.  Very clean eater...

Hi Betty!! I have hawks here too but I never have my camra changed up for a vid or they are too far away to get a good one.. I tryed to do the crows that seem to hang out as we throw out our old bread and other veggies to them sometimes.. My moms back yard backs to a very lrg field so lots of wild life, we get coyoties too that I dont' like due to my small dogs who can climb the dang fence.. I tryed to get a pic of them but man, they are fast and shy. take care and video them when U can.. Barb
