I think Manx are known for short or no tail. Sparky was born on a dairy farm and was the only tuxedo in a litter of gray, tiger kittens. I like to think he's descended from Norwegian Forrest cats but who knows...the vet just calls him domestic long hair. I found this photos online of a Norwegian Forrest Cat.

She is about 13, my sister found her in a parking lot. I believe that they may have manx in them, what do you think?

Clara is a beauty pink nose and all. How old is she? She looks very much like Sparky.  He's actually dropped from over 15 lbs in his younger years...can't eat as much when you sleep 18-20 hours a day.

He patrols the garden several times a day...in between naps.

The FIRST Peony Bloom!

"Keryn, this is a "regular" (ground, not tree) peony. They stay in the ground all year and come up bigger and better each year. These peonies do need a period of extended cold to flower and we get plenty of that here. Last fall, my husband…"

"Here is something new I tried this year  - saw the idea on one of the FB pages.  Attach gutter to a wall or fence and plant shallow-rooted veggies like lettuce and spinach.  I also added the rest of my green onion bulbs. "
