I found a way to peel squash that is lot easier on the hands. Also can peel all types of squash and turnip.

The worms no doubt love your method!  Great idea if you have a lathe!

that would be the best way for sure. Does squash freeze well?

I peel a whole bunch at one time so I can freeze them. Put all the peeling in the worm composter.

My butternut will wobble and the acorn ribs will chatter. But seriosuly, I think I'll stick with doing it by hand. I don't want to have to clean up my wood lath every time I cook sqash :o)
