this is a short video of my granddaughter, Tando playing in gravel with her grandma (me). Understand, it had taken us a week to get Tando to be NOT afraid of gravel -- so that she would be willing to walk on it. She arrived with her mom from Egypt, where she only knew concrete. She was terrified of gravel, grass & pretty much everything else. So, we spent the four weeks of her visit, adjusting her to all the wonders of rural living in South Dakota, including the joys of playing in gravel. LOL

AWWWW! How cute she is. What a big change for her and she seems to be enjoying it very much, with the help of her Grandma of course!

"Clare, My three year old  Baptista finally bloomed this year but just one stem. Lots of green very little indigo. Any suggestions?"
