I was attached to VA-95 the Green Lizards while in the U.S. Navy from 1980-1984 on Whidbey Island. It was so Nice there!! I loved the outdoors it was wonderful.

We lived on Whidbey from 2002 - 2004.  I miss the humming birds, and the water.  We live in Anchorage now.  Its beautiful, but there are no humming birds in our area.

Thanks for the welcome! Unfortunately, I won't have much to add for a while. We just got back into our house after the May F5 tornado in Joplin. Needless to say, I was unable to get my garden going this year. Hopefully by February, I will have pictures of seedlings to post.

 

I am already finding groups I am interested in such as the bee keeping, and veggie gardening. Thanks again!
